Wowza! The scent is so sweet on cold it is as if the scent alone is enough to give you cavities!

On warm this fragrance mellowed out and became a more tolerable fragrance. The caramel being the top scent note was a thick creamy caramel you’d find drizzled over most candied apples at Carnivals and festivals while the green apple was crisp and fresh giving off that tart/sour note we all know and love most in our green apples.

Usually I melt half of a scent shot and get a decent throw in my home but I felt like melting the full cup. (treat yo self) This melted well over 5-6 hours before I just grew tired of the scent and changed it out for something different.

The next melt I chose was from Wonderberry Wax Co- Ultimate Candy Apples.

Brand: Wonderberry Wax Co.
Product: 1 Scalloped Tart
Warmer Used: Glade Warmer
Scent: Ultimate Candy Apples
Throw: Medium to Strong
Online Scent Description: “Crunchy green apples dipped in caramel and white chocolate and rolled in toffee bits”

This tart put on quiet the show as it melted dispersing glitter throughout the warmer plate. The green apple in this fragrance is just mouthwatering fresh. Now take that apple of yours and dip it in hot, gooey, rich caramel and drizzle melted white chocolate over that dipped apple before dousing your creation in crunchy sweet toffee. YUMMMM!  I was able to get a great throw for about 4-5 hours of melting before the scent started to fade.

I enjoyed this version of candied apples a bit more than the first melt but I believe it to be because of the other scent notes added making this scent more than just a caramel apple.

I found this in a home good’s store and thought it was way too cute to not share with you all.

I found this recipe as I was skimming through a cook book my mother in law had given me when I had first got married. This is my mother in laws recipe called Lazy Cobbler that is best served with ice cream. It sounded delicious so I thought it would be the perfect yet easy recipe to share with you guys.
Lazy Cobbler
1 can fruit of your choice (apples in this case)
1 3/4 cup sugar ,divided
1 stick margarine
1 cup self-rising flour
3/4 cup milk

Mix fruit with 3/4 cup of sugar in a saucepan and cook until hot. While fruit is cooking, melt margarine in a 9×13 inch-pan. Combine rest of ingredients in a bowl. Pour over melted margarine but do not stir. Pour hot fruit mixture over batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Batter will rise to top. Serve with ice cream!
What is your favorite apple recipe? Let me know below!
Until next melt,

Happy Melting and in this case baking!

Lazy cobbler sounds like my kind of dessert, gonna try it! Wonderberry’s wax looks awesome, gonna try that soon too. What is it with the green apple scents that makes the mouth water, mine literally did. Must be something in the oils;)

That wooden apple!! I have never been in a Home Goods store, but I asked my friend what she wanted for her birthday this year and she asked for a Home Goods gift card so I sent her an electronic one but it piqued my curiosity. Will it send me down a rabbit hole?? I am not even sure where there is one around me. But being between Tampa and Orlando I am sure there is one not too far.

That lazy cobbler looks perfect. I will definitely be whipping that bad boy up. Maybe with canned blueberries?? My hubby gets weak in the knees for a good blueberry dessert. Gotta keep the man happy ❤

I know isn’t it cute?!! I almost couldn’t resist! Yes stay far far away if you haven’t been already because I could spend hours and many dollars in a Home Goods! Too many cute things to decorate your home. Not only decorate but useful things as well! I believe blueberries would be great! You’ll have to let me know how it goes!

You had me “lazy” with your Lazy Cobbler recipe. I like recipes made for lazy people. Nice apple scents. I really need to try out Candy Panda sometime. I saw Amanda’s post on one their scents too and it sounded great.

I need that wooden apple in my life.
I don’t know why, but the color of the Wonderberry wax made me really happy.
And thank you for the recipe, I’m always hunting for easy cobbler recipes!
