Online Scent Description: “As sweet as the trip to the local apple orchard each year, a delicious fall blend of mulled cider, warm caramel and sweet cinnamon.”

Sweet fall bliss take me away! Somebody pinch me I must be dreaming. Where has this fragrance been all my life?? My nose cannot get enough of the sweet juicy apples, warm dark caramel and the deepness of the spices from the mulled cider.

Around this time of year cider scents are one of my favorites so for this to pass under my radar for so long baffles me. This is such an addictive scent and I must get a vast amount of it before fall comes to an end. I cannot give this scent enough credit on how good it really is so you have to give it a try if you haven’t already

Don’t you think these adorable shapes can pass off as scarecrows? I thought they were the perfect shape for this post.

When vendors create such beautifully handcrafted tarts how do they expect us to melt them? The intricate details on the swirl of the brim of Ann’s hat and the pipping of her hair is on point and incredible which made it even harder not to hoard this melt.

I made the mistake of melting a whole Ann/Scarecrow when in my home a full one is definitely not needed. The scent throw on this little melt was fantastic! If you have a smaller home like me you could easily get away with cutting this melt in half unless you like being punched in the nose with sweet delicious fall goodness.. if you do..by all means, treat yourself!

Does this classify as a fall melt..? Not really? Well let me explain my reasoning’s. This was a new clamshell at my local Wal-Mart that I picked up when looking for fall fragrances and when I was testing it I began thinking of scarecrows and of my scarecrow wind chime. Usually scarecrows come to mind with a bright sunflower tucked into the brim of their straw hats so what better melt than to include this one?

This reminds me of a floral perfume type scent. It is rather beautiful and one I would recommend picking up and giving a try if you like bright flower fragrances.

Fall Craft:

The scarecrow you see above is a Pinterest craft that I completed about a year ago. Being short on space from living in a one bedroom apartment you have to get creative with your decorations. If you flip our fall fellow around once the autumn weather waves goodbye, you are now ready for the chilly, frosty winter with your very own frosty the snowman!

This craft was so much fun and very easy as long as you have the tools to assemble the wooden boards together. The wooden planks are screwed together with screws and I just used acrylic paint. Both flowers I found at Hobby Lobby and removed the wire stems with pliers before attaching them with a hot glut gun.  Of course if you put this outside you would need to weather proof it with a good sealer.

A simple yet fun addition to your porch for any season!

Have you made any fun fall crafts recently? Let me know!

Until Next Melt!

What a great craft! I kept thinking of my niece doing this wooden project with me while I was reading, she loves crafts and especially loves painting anything.
I’m obsessed with Cider Lane this year, I feel like I’m late to this scent too. I’m not a big fan of caramel but in CL it’s perfect! And it’s a great bakery blender.

I’m so impressed with your craft, genius! Those scarecrow waxes are adorable, I’d hate to see the little head melting, though:) I feel like I’m in the minority but I can’t handle any overly caramel scent, headache-inducing sweetness for me. I sniffed Cider Lane in BBW and kept walking:/

Girl I expected to hear so many times, “You know those aren’t scarecrows right?” haha, I just thought they were perfect and could pass for it! Yeah I get how it could be too sweet, I have had days where I have tried to melt it and it was too overwhelming for me and had to turn it off. Other days it is just perfect! I have yet to smell B&BW version though to see if this is an exact dupe.

I LOVE the scarecrow theme of this post!!!! Cider Lane is very yummy and I particularly love blending with it too. My friend Deb gifted me that BHG Sunflower and Mum scent and I knew exactly what it was when I opened it… Elizabeth Arden’s Sunflowers. I used to wear it in high school and it transported me, smelling it again.

That scarecrow/snowman is genius. I have some blocks I painted that spell “Give Thanks” on one side and “Christ is Born” on the other for Christmas and I like the ease of duality of those too. One decoration for two holidays. I will have to look into getting some wood to make yours. It would be cute by my door.

Beautiful craft! I like that you can get more than one ‘season’ of decorating out of it!

I totally get your reasoning for Sunflower & Chrystanthemum being fall related! I can’t say I’d be a fan of melting the cute SGA scarecrow heads, though. I think those would end up in my ‘too cute to melt’ section, just like CFTKR.

They were almost too cute to melt! I’ve been hoarding them yet I made the mistake of melting one and now I can’t get enough of the scent. Yum! Now I am glad I have more Cider Lane coming from another vendor to save my Ann’s/Scarecrows lol.

I just wanted you to know I have been trying to comment on your page for a week now, but for some reason no matter what I typed in, nothing ever went through! I have had so much to tell you! Holy cow, those scarecrow melts are adorable. I have never wanted to buy from SGA, and I have never seen those molds, but man are they stinkin’ cute! Love your craft, it’s super cute and doesn’t look too difficult! I wish I was crafty!

I have been having trouble commenting on another blog in our Fall Fun Series, too! What is it with my new computer?! LOL! I will have to take a look at SGA, how does she do her ordering system now, I am not in her group anymore.

Weird! I don’t know why it wont work. And with SGA ordering is really easy because she is RTS now and is open almost all the time besides when she does her “replenish” restocks which I believe are twice a month.. don’t quote me on that since I am also not in her FB group lol. But really fast and reasonable shipping. She does invoice you after it ships though, so that is something to keep in mind when ordering.
