Vendor/Brand: Bath & Body Works

Scent: Cider Lane

Product: Three Wick 14.5 oz. Candle

Price: $22.50 (Sale 12.50)

Throw: Strong at beginning

Scent Description: As sweet as the trip to the local apple orchard each year, a delicious fall blend of mulled cider, warm caramel and sweet cinnamon.

New found love to add to my list of favorite fall scents.. Where has this scent been all my life? How has this flown under my radar for so long and I am just now finding it in 2016? It’s crazy! Maybe I’ve smelled it before and wasn’t pleased so it’s taken this long for my nose to mature and age to its scent like it were a fine wine.

The apple cider and gooey caramel go hand-n-hand to create a decadent, mouthwatering, perfect for fall aroma. I feel the need to put a warning comment in here somewhere that states not to consume this candle because it smells so rich and good.

Candles Performance: The wicks began burning strong and mighty with tall flames that I felt the need to keep a watchful eye on until they returned to a normal flame. The scent had a powerful throw that leaked from my bedroom and down the hall that lasted for several hours. (I began burning on a Saturday at noon, so this burned for most of the afternoon)

The candle started having puny wicks about 3 to 4 days into burning which in return disrupted the scent throw causing it to go from strong to more of a Low Medium. After awhile of maintenance for this candle, I grew tired of caring for it and finally put it away  pulling out my melts in the process in this scent instead.

Note: I know there are many die hard fans out there for this candle but I was able to find many vendors who offered a Cider Lane Type wax melt that were a close dupe if not better. My favorite versions being Sassy Girl Aroma and Wild Vine Soapery’s. The melts can help get you through the year until the candle comes back around next fall.

Hey there, I was possessed by the fact I could get in on WildVine because it was a Thursday, and still got in 11 minutes late causing me to lose out on Iced Tea Twist:( But I managed to get a couple other goodies. Thanks for letting us know about the shop opening change!
I hesitated on Lindsey’s Cider Lane bc I was afraid it was caramel overload, how does it compare?

I believe that Lindsey’s is a close dupe to Cider Lane. There is a slight note that is a tad bit different that I can’t lay my finger on but overall it reminds me of the fragrance. I would say SGA is more on the Caramel if that is what you fear but it is balanced out by the apple cider and it is wonderful. Usually I am not for caramel scents but her Cider Lane is hoard worthy in my opinion. Much better than the candle which i think is real heavy on the caramel. Ooo you’ll have to message me later and let me know what goodies you got from Lindsey! I missed out this time around .

Ugh!! Wimpy wicks are a bane for sure. Cut that candle beast up and melt the pieces. 🙂 I may have to do that with my Marshmallow Fireside. It is a weakling too as far as wicks. Isn’t it funny how vendors have even better versions of BBW than the actual store does?! I love Cider Lane blended with mac apple, marshmallow fireside and with leaves sometimes too. It is such a great scent! Nice choice!
